Branden R. Brar, DDS


Biography

Dr. Brar was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. He completed his undergraduate studies in health science at the University of British Columbia. He then moved to New York to attend NYU College of Dentistry where he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious honor society awarded to the top students in the graduating class. While in dental school he met his wife who is a pediatric dentist and native of Long Island.

Following dental school, he pursued residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Boston University where he served as chief resident and gained extensive training in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including implantology, dentoalveolar, trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, reconstructive surgery, and pathology. He has also authored and published many scientific articles in several journals such as the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Journal of Cancer Education, Journal of Dental Research, Journal of American Dental Association, and Journal of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Radiology.

In his spare time, Dr. Brar enjoys traveling, fitness, and spending time with his family. He currently resides in Bay Shore with his wife.
