Gregory P. Shank, DDS


Biography

Dr. Shank was born on Long Island at Winthrop University Hospital and grew up in St. James, NY.  He graduated from Chaminade High School where he was the Captain of the Cross Country and Track and Field Teams.  He also attended Dental School on Long Island at SUNY Stony  Brook before pursuing Postgraduate Specialty Training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Medstar Washington Hospital Center.  WHC is a level 1 Trauma Center where he received full scope training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and had a particular interest in digital applications in Implant Dentistry and reconstruction.  As a student, he was heavily involved in the American Dental Association serving as the District Trustee representing the students of New York and New Jersey at the national level.  When he isn’t working he spends his time running, going to concerts, and rooting for the Islanders , Yankees, and Giants.
